According to this article, the bus system would have been completely modified to model a more Uber-style ride system. Supposedly, this would lower costs and maximize efficiency with regards to the busing system. Furthermore, the article goes on to say that although the buses would initially be operated by humans, the system would eventually gravitate towards autonomous vehicles. This was all supposed to be seen on campus as early as summer of 2017.

I have not seen any of this at school. I understand this would be a colossal change for the busing and transportation systems here at Michigan, but do you think this would be beneficial for the school? Can you forsee potential problems? How would these be resolved?
