To me, the most important part of this article is that the walk outs around the country were inspired by 16-year-old Swedish activist Greta Thunberg. Climate change is such an important topic that some people don’t even believe is happening. The fact that a 16-year-old started the movement shows how change can happen from young students. This gets me thinking about how schools should help inspire their students to make change. If young students can activate change across the country, what else can we accomplish? What other problems do you think students and young adults or kids can solve?
