Social media use may harm...

Social media use may harm teens' mental health by disrupting positive activities, study says This article discusses teens use of social media and the negative effects it has on mental health. What I found most interesting about this post is that "Social media itself might not be to blame for mental health issues; rather, it takes away from girls' sleep quality and exercise while exposing users to cyberbullying, and that's what leads to lower well-being and problems with mental health." Everyone tends to blame social media for affecting children's mental health, from the number of likes someone has to a picture someone is not in - these tend to hurt people. How can we fix this problem? Should parents limit children's use of social media? The applications there allowed to use? Should children go back to reading real books before they go to sleep or is it okay to play games? What can we do to help their mental health? https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/13/health/social-media-mental-health-trnd/index.html
