Detroit Public Schools Unifying Bus Plan

In June of 2018, Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan introduced a new bus plan for students in the city aimed at reducing the nearly 32,000 students who leave the city each day to attend suburban schools. The plan also unites the bus routes of public, DPSCD schools and charter schools, helping to more effectively service neighborhoods, particularly in Northwest Detroit.
