The following article discusses the pausing of the computer science major admissions at Boston College. Because of their low staff numberings, and their influx of students, they cannot support the major for any longer without additional staff. If anything, I believe this shows the importance of the major because of the growth of the students applying. I am curious if others think this is a sign that a programming major is becoming obsolete or not.
