The Michigan State Board of Education opposed A-F grading of schools and in supported a non-letter grading accountability system. However, according to Michigan Radio, the A-F system is up for consideration again. "Lawmakers say it’s an easy way to show how schools are doing" and holds schools accountable. Yet, many people oppose this system for many reasons including " A-F school grading system can assign poor grades to schools where significant learning is being accomplished and where parents are pleased with their school." There are obviously pros and cons to both sides, but what does the caucus think?
