“France this week announced a bold plan to ban the sale of all fully-gasoline and diesel fuel vehicles by 2040. Other countries, like India and Norway, have expressed interest in similar plans. But could, or should, the United States implement such a policy?”
It is quite clear now the effects of gas powered cars on the environment and with the advancements in technology and electronic driving, the future of gas cars seems to be in question. That being said, it would be a monumental shift towards helping the environment and many are in support of the idea. Should the United States ban gas cars? What are the potential consequences Michigan will face? Is the electronic driving industry ready to take on a new role? I look forward to hearing from the caucus.
